Online Bingo Etiquette

We have put together the key points of bingo etiquette that you should know before you start playing. Some of this is common sense, and other points can also be used universally when in online gaming or chat forums.

Respect and manners - always be respectful of players and the CM and to be polite when chatting. Online bingo websites endorse respect for all genders, races, nationalities, religions and political views - and while playing on their site, players are to do the same.  As players we want to be happy in a safe and comfortable environment - which is exactly what the online bingo sites want also.

Language - all players must refrain from any language that could be considered rude, abusive, sexual or offensive in nature, and swearing is a complete no-no. Our Chat Cheatsheet tells you everything you need to know so you are well prepared.

Chat Moderator (CM) - respect your CM, respect their rules. CMs are fantastic, friendly people whose job it is to enhance your experience and make sure everyone is enjoying themselves while playing online bingo. They will provide you with any help needed while in the room, however if they don't answer your question immediately they may be assisting another player.

Behaviour - Online bingo sites have strict harrassment policies in place designed so with your safety in mind. CMs will remove any player who is displaying inappropriate behaviour and have final say on any issue.

User name - choose something funny, or a nick name to be your user name. Be sure that the name will not be offensive or considered distateful to anyone. Only use lower case letters for your user name as CMs use upper case so their user name stands out and is easy for players to spot.

SHOUTING - do not use UPPER case text when chatting. In the online world this is seen as shouting and isntead players universally always use lower case when chatting.

Advertising - never recommend or suggest another online bingo or online casino site to players whether in private or group chat. Do not advertise or market any gambling related products to any players.

Sore loser/braggy winner - when playing any game or sport there is nothing worse than a sore loser or a braggy winner. If you lose a game, no matter how close it was, be gracious in defeat and don't try and make the winner feel bad. You can either congratulate the winner or if you say nothing. Contrary to that when someone is a braggy winner and goes on and on about their win. Of course it's natural to be so excited and feel like you are on top of the world, just be sensitive to those around you, and be a gracious winner.

Complaints - if you would like to make a complaint about the site you are on do so via customer service and not within the chat rooms.

Have fun - this is your time out from the world and doing something for yourself - it's all about you. Enjoy every wonderful minute of it!
